Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012, she was awarded gold in the team competitions along with the floor exercise. On the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. That made her the very first American gymnast at the Olympics who won the most medals. In the 2016, Olympics she won a gold medal for the team event, which gave her and teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being the first Americans to earn back-to-back teams gold medals. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Furthermore, she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics team. When she was just 2 her first lesson was gymnastics. She is a fan of doing floor exercises. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. She is planning to pursue the field of fashion, and would like to expand her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce is a novel will be released later in the year.
